The United States government is considering a controversial plan called GREAT Trust (Gaza Reconstruction, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust) for the Gaza Strip. This plan, initially proposed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, aims to rebuild the Gaza Strip and transform it into a thriving region, with investments in megaprojects such as electric vehicle factories, data centers, beach resorts, and high-rise apartments.

However, the GREAT Trust plan has sparked international outrage and criticism, with experts stating that expelling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip would violate international law. Critics argue that mass resettlement of Palestinians in other countries in the region would be a destabilizing factor and a security risk for the Middle East.

The plan does not involve the death or killing of any specific individuals, such as Hamas spokesman Abu Obaida or Gaza military chief al-Sinwar, who were mentioned in earlier reports. In a recent development, Hamas has confirmed the death of al-Sinwar in an Israel attack.

Under the GREAT Trust plan, each Palestinian willing to leave the Gaza Strip would receive $5,000 (around 4,280 euros) and a year's supply of food. The US government is also considering placing the Gaza Strip under a US-managed trusteeship for at least ten years.

The Israeli government is considering the annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank, a move that is not currently supported by the GREAT Trust plan. Meanwhile, the issue of annexation is on the agenda of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Security Cabinet.

While the GREAT Trust plan aims to economically revitalize the Gaza Strip, other critics have expressed doubts about the funding and implementation of the project. France, Britain, Australia, and Canada have announced their intention to recognize a Palestinian state, a move that contrasts with the positions of Germany and Austria, which currently reject this intention.

The GREAT Trust plan was based on ideas presented by US President Trump in February to turn the Gaza Strip into a "Riviera of the Middle East". The plan's implementation remains uncertain, with the US government and the Israeli government still deliberating on their respective positions regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
