ITV Series "SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters": Character Lineup of noteworthy Celebrities
Prepare for an adrenaline-pumping adventure as "SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters" premieres on ITV1 on July 14 at 9 pm. This exciting new show sees a group of celebrities confronting their deepest fears in the heart of the Bahamas, known as the shark capital of the world.
Among the fearless participants are comedian Ross Noble, best known for his stand-up routines, and environmentalist Ade Adepitan, a TV presenter and former wheelchair basketball representative for Great Britain. Ade, who has scuba-dived before but is not an expert, believes there is an important message at the heart of the program.
Actress Helen George, famed for her role as Trixie in "Call the Midwife", was initially apprehensive about the show. With a deep-rooted fear of swimming and putting her head underwater, she found the experience both challenging and rewarding. During the show, she overcame her fear and participated in a cage dive with bull sharks.
Rachel Riley, known for her appearances on Countdown and Strictly Come Dancing, also participated in the show. Despite feeling apprehensive at times, she bravely faced her fears and immersed herself in the shark-filled waters.
Joining the lineup is Dougie Poynter, the McFly bassist, who, after learning to scuba dive, has become obsessed with the activity. Actress Lucy Punch, known for her role in Amandaland, also found the shark encounters exhilarating and peaceful, despite experiencing initial panic.
Lenny Henry, a renowned comedian and actor, also took part in the show. Despite a pre-existing knee issue, he improved significantly during the filming. Unfortunately, specific details about his experiences and fears are not yet available.
