Ivory Coast Collaborates with Cybastion to Advance E-Government Transformations via Digital Innovations
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Côte d'Ivoire, in partnership with Cybastion, has embarked on two digital transformation projects aimed at modernizing regular services and improving public administration. The specific company involved in the first project, which focuses on digitalizing regular services, remains unnamed in the available search results.
One of these projects is the Unified Management System for Industrial and Commercial Information (GUCII). This initiative, in collaboration with Cybastion, aims to simplify business processes and foster transparency. The GUCII project offers features such as online registration and certifications, digital inspections, and access to real-time analytics.
The second project, details of which were not provided, is also said to have an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system at its core. This system is designed to integrate finance, human resources, logistics, and customer relationship management, with the aim of enhancing transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The government expects these initiatives to make it easier to do business in Côte d'Ivoire, strengthen e-government services, and foster greater transparency. However, it is unclear from the available information whether these projects have been fully implemented or are still in progress, or whether they have faced any challenges or been successful.
Workshops for the implementation of both projects began on August 18 and will continue through mid-September. As these projects progress, it will be interesting to see how they contribute to the digital transformation of Côte d'Ivoire's services and administration.
