JBL's Latest Headphones Sport a Wireless Link Compatible with Archaic Analog Gadgets as Well
Introducing the JBL Tour ONE M3 Headphones and Smart Tx Transmitter
Prepare for an immersive audio experience as JBL unveils its latest offering, the Tour ONE M3 Headphones, accompanied by the Smart Tx Transmitter. Both devices are set to hit the market on April 13.
The Tour ONE M3 Headphones feature JBL's Spatial 360 technology, providing a cinematic experience for your music and movies. The headphones are equipped with new 40mm Mica Dome drivers, designed to deliver deep bass, balanced mids, and crystal-clear highs.
The headphones also boast eight microphones for the True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology, ensuring a quiet and focused listening environment, even in noisy surroundings.
The headphones come with a battery life of up to 70 hours, offering extended listening sessions, and a 5-hour boost after a quick 5-minute charge.
The Smart Tx Transmitter, a pocket-sized device, complements the headphones perfectly. It allows for play, pause, and skip controls, as well as ANC settings and EQ adjustments. The transmitter features a touchscreen for better control over the headphones.
The Smart Tx Transmitter also allows connection to analog devices with USB-C or 3.5mm audio ports. Notably, it uses the same proprietary wireless connection as the charging case of the Tour Pro 3 earbuds. Additionally, it provides wireless connectivity to Auracast-enabled devices with broadcasting capability.
The JBL app allows for adjusting levels for each ear, although the reason for this feature is unclear. The app also allows for controlling the ANC settings and EQ controls on the Tour ONE M3 headphones.
Both the Tour ONE M3 Headphones and Smart Tx Transmitter can be purchased separately, with the combined package priced at $400. The headphones are available in three colorways: black, blue, and mocha.
