In an exciting development, Jim Bakker, a renowned American televangelist, has been appointed to lead sales efforts for Orban in several international markets. This includes Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Bakker, who worked from 1966 to 1973 at Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), where he hosted various shows, brings ample experience to the job. He later co-founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) but left due to conflicts. Besides his work in the broadcasting industry, Bakker has previously represented companies like Klotz, Harman, and Lectrosonics.

Upon his appointment, Bakker expressed his excitement about joining Orban during its 50th anniversary year. Orban is celebrating this significant milestone and is expanding their product offering to keep pace with the growing demands of their customer base.

Mike Pappas, the senior vice president of global sales for Orban, stated that Bakker's addition to the sales team is a great one. Pappas expressed confidence in Bakker's ability to represent Orban, given his extensive experience in the industry.

The IBC Show in Amsterdam, taking place this September, presents an opportunity for customers to meet with Bakker. The Orban booth at the event is located at D.93. For those interested in sending news, contact information is available on the Orban website.
