In a recent development, popular podcaster Joe Rogan has publicly criticised President Donald Trump's handling of records from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. This move marks a significant shift in Rogan's relationship with the President, who he endorsed in the 2024 presidential election and attended his inauguration.

During a discussion on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan and his guest, Mike Baker, delved deep into the fallout over the Epstein files. Baker, a guest on Rogan's show, believes the controversy over the administration's handling of the Epstein files is unlikely to go away soon.

Trump, on the campaign trail in 2024, suggested he would release Epstein's client list if returned to office. However, the two-page memo from the Justice Department and FBI, which mentioned an exhaustive review of investigative holdings related to Epstein, found no incriminating list of clients.

Attorney General Pam Bondi previously fuelled speculation about the existence of such a list, but later clarified that she meant files related to the case, not a list of names. The FBI and Department of Justice have stated that no further disclosure of information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case would be appropriate or warranted.

Rogan addressed the Epstein backlash on his podcast and questioned Trump's comments about the matter. Trump has characterised the uproar over the Epstein files as a "scam" and "hoax."

Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for assisting Epstein in the sexual abuse of children, is expected to provide more information about the case following her interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Blanche, who is a friend of Maxwell's lawyer, David Oscar Markus, met with Maxwell last week and has vowed to release information about their conversation at an appropriate time.

The controversy over the Epstein files is not likely to disappear anytime soon, and the Trump administration is likely to continue facing pressure over the case. Rogan has joined voices speaking out against the administration's handling of Epstein-related records, drawing a "hardcore line in the sand" with President Trump.

In a surprising twist, Rogan also praised a South Park episode that ridiculed the President, referring to the "chaos" in politics. This marks a departure from his initial endorsement of Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

As the Epstein case unfolds, it remains to be seen how this development will impact Rogan's relationship with Trump and the political landscape in the United States.
