In a groundbreaking collaboration, Abbey Road Studios and Bowers & Wilkins have co-developed Abbey Road Studios Mode, an innovative audio system exclusively available with the Polestar 3. This new in-car listening experience aims to replicate the iconic sounds of the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios, elevating the in-car audio experience to unprecedented heights.
The Abbey Road Studios Mode offers users a unique and customisable audio experience, thanks to its producer mode that allows granular customisation. Four distinct presets - Intimate, Expansive, Open, and Energised - cater to various musical preferences, creating a personalised listening journey for every driver.
Jon Hopkins, a renowned British musician, was invited to create new music for this immersive experience. For the Intimate preset, Hopkins crafted a subtle, contemplative piece that perfectly encapsulates the intimate atmosphere of Abbey Road Studio Two. For the Expansive preset, Hopkins aimed to capture the grandeur and spaciousness of Studio Two, a room that has been at the heart of Britain's music scene since it opened in 1931.
To further showcase the unique sonic characteristics of Abbey Road Studios Mode, rising jazz star corto.alto spent a day making music in Studio Two. This special event was designed to highlight the immersive audio experience offered by Abbey Road Studios Mode in the Polestar 3.
