New Center Parcs Resort in Denmark Offers Unique Holiday Experience

Denmark's first Center Parcs resort, the Nordborg Resort, is set to be a popular destination for Danish tourists. Located on the picturesque island of Als, the resort boasts a unique coastal location that offers a variety of activities for visitors.

The Nordborg Resort is home to Denmark's longest pier, a 140-meter-long bathing jetty leading directly into the Little Belt. This is just one of the many highlights at the resort, which also includes boat trips, an interactive farm with animal encounters, and an outdoor activity center offering laser tag and archery.

The resort's Aqua Mundo Water World is the heart of the facility, featuring several water slides and a wild water river. For the younger visitors, electric jeeps are available for a fun and eco-friendly way to explore the resort.

The Market Dome at the Nordborg Resort offers a variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Restaurants, mini-golf, bowling, and family entertainment can all be found under one roof.

The island of Als itself is a holiday paradise, offering activities like hiking, cycling, horse riding, and swimming in the Baltic Sea. Sønderborg, the largest city on the island, is also a worthwhile destination for those who enjoy relaxed shopping or exploring the city with its castle, parks, and cafes.

The city has a signposted culture tour for visitors to explore, and it is approximately 2.5 hours' drive from Hamburg. The builder and operator of the Nordborg Resort are not publicly specified in available sources.

However, it is worth noting that the resort prioritized sustainability during its construction, in line with the eco-friendly approach of the island of Als.

The Point Of View on the 16th floor of the Alsik Hotel in Sønderborg offers the best view over the city, but it is not mentioned whether it has any connection to the Nordborg Resort. The length of Als' longest bathing jetty is not specified, so this information cannot be accurately provided.

Despite this, the summer months and the autumn holidays, as well as the off-peak season, are already experiencing high demand for the Nordborg Resort. With its unique location, variety of activities, and commitment to sustainability, it is likely to become a popular destination for many years to come.
