Kitchen fire leaves a woman slightly injured in her home kitchen (POL-MFR: 776)

On August 2nd, 2025, a kitchen fire broke out in a residential building on BachstraรŸe, Oberasbach, Middle Franconia. The incident was reported at approximately 14:45.

Heating oil on the stove is believed to be the cause of the fire, which quickly filled the apartment with smoke. As a result, a 46-year-old woman suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Fortunately, no other apartments in the building were affected by the fire. The extent of the fire damage is currently unknown.

The fire department responded promptly to the incident, and police officers sealed off the affected apartment.
