Kosmosviertel's property management expands operations with a new office at Ortolfstraße

The Kosmosviertel district management has recently moved to a new office located at Oltorfstraße 206b, with the state of Hamburg providing the premises. This new office serves as a hub for neighbourhood affairs, projects, and events, acting as an interface between residents and the administration.

The previous office, which was a bakery situated at the Quartiersplatz, will now be used for various events such as the Kiezfest and Christmas market. The new office, conveniently situated right at the Quartiersplatz, retains the established "QM-Bank" in front, offering a meeting point for conversations with the neighbourhood.

The district management team, consisting of Carolin Heinrich, Franziska Doehmen, and Daniel Fritz from Stadtkümmerei GmbH, will work from the new office. They are eager to receive ideas, suggestions, and criticism from the residents to help improve the quality of life and create more equal opportunities in the Kosmosviertel.

The move was supported by the people in the neighbourhood, with many residents lending a hand with the transport and setup of the new rooms. A barbecue is planned directly in front of the new office to celebrate the successful move.

The district management organizes concrete projects, actions, and events for the Kosmosviertel, with the goal of sustainably improving life in the area. The funding for the district management comes from the federal government and the state of Berlin, with the implementation of the "Social Cohesion" program being through the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing.

The district office will be open five days a week, providing a constant presence for the residents of Kosmosviertel. The move from Schönefelder Chaussee to Ortolfstraße 206b marks a new chapter for the Kosmosviertel district management, symbolising their commitment to improving the community.
