Municipal and Integration Council Elections to Take Place in Barmer on September 14, 2025

Voters in Barmer are gearing up for a busy election day on September 14, 2025, as several important local elections will be taking place. The municipal election, mayoral election, city council election, and district council elections will all be held on this date.

To be eligible to vote in the municipal election, individuals must meet certain requirements. They must be at least 16 years old on election day and either be German citizens or citizens of EU member states. Additionally, to be eligible, individuals must have been living in the voting area and registered since August 29, 2025. For the integration council election, eligibility includes individuals with foreign citizenship or those with citizenship.

In addition to voting in person, Room A-350 (3rd floor) also offers the option to vote directly. The integration council election will also take place on September 14, 2025, and voting locations for this election will be announced at a later date.
