Lake District Reports originating from PP Ravensburg
In the city of Tettnang and surrounding areas, a series of incidents have occurred over the past few days, prompting local authorities to launch investigations.
Early on Friday morning, a 22-year-old individual was found attempting to evade the police in Riedle Park, Friedrichshafen. Reports suggest that he may have been under the influence of drugs, as small amounts of various substances were found on him. He was taken to a hospital for a blood sample and is now facing charges for drug possession. If the results of the blood test confirm the suspicion, he will also be charged with driving under the influence.
The police are continuing their investigations into a moped theft incident in the same area. The suspect, a 24-year-old, who was previously under investigation, was released without charge on Thursday. Witnesses are being sought to aid in the investigation.
Another incident occurred on Thursday afternoon between Hengau and Poppis, where a tractor driver was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Unfortunately, the identity of the tractor driver remains unknown. The road maintenance department was called to clean the road due to leaking fluids from the accident.
Later on Thursday evening, a motorcyclist, aged 18, was involved in a collision with a car on the L 328 towards Spaltenstein. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. The car driver, aged 49, turned left towards Riedern without noticing the biker, causing the collision.
On Thursday evening at the entrance to a gas station on B 467/Linderhof, a 59-year-old driver was injured in an accident. Both vehicles sustained damage, with the motorcycle being severely damaged and unable to be driven, requiring a tow.
The police are also investigating several cases of theft and trespassing that have occurred in the city area over the past few days. A man, described as being approximately 30 to 40 years old, slim, with shoulder-length unkempt hair, wearing a light long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and light-colored men's shoes, is suspected of several incidents. He was found trying to hide in a nearby parking garage after a short ride on an E-scooter. After being stopped by a police patrol, he fled via Katharinenstraße. Anyone who noticed the incident late Wednesday evening in the GZH area is asked to contact the police at 07541/701-0.
The investigations are ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
