Las Vegas Murder-Suicide Leaves Community Shocked; Couple Arrested for Playing Profane Trump Song

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a shooting on Friday, October 20, 2024. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of a couple in an apparent murder-suicide. The shooter, who has not been identified, claimed he felt threatened and fired at least seven shots at the couple's car as they drove away. The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
In an unrelated incident, Jennifer Lund and Timothy Parks were arrested for playing a profane song about Donald Trump outside a residence displaying a pro-Trump yard sign. The couple was charged with assault, battery, and stalking. They remain in the Clark County Detention Center, with bail set at $20,000 each.
