Law enforcement authorities are seeking individuals who may have observed a recent incident.
In the early hours of September 3, 2021, a violent incident occurred in Dortmund's Kampstraße. A 37-year-old Moroccan man without a fixed address was seriously injured but not fatally, according to the Dortmund Public Prosecutor's Office.
The attack took place around 00:30. The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The perpetrator, as identified by the police, is Serkan A.
The perpetrator is described as being between 30 and 35 years old, of slim build, with a three-day beard, black smooth hair hanging down on his forehead, and a tattoo on his right forearm. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and light-colored sports shoes.
An accomplice was also present at the scene. He is believed to be around 25 years old, has short dark hair, a thin build, and wore black sports shoes, black pants, and a black "Nike" jacket.
The Dortmund Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office are seeking witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 0231/132-7441. The police and public prosecutor's office have also deployed a police helicopter in the search for the men. The Dortmund Police have set up a homicide commission for further investigations.
