A disturbing incident occurred on a train journey between Albstadt and Tübingen on Tuesday afternoon, August 26, 2025. According to the Bundes Police Inspectorate Stuttgart, a 40-year-old German man allegedly threatened a 15-year-old passenger with Polish citizenship and another unknown passenger with a wooden knife.

The incident unfolded around 15:15, and a witness bravely intervened, preventing the suspect from carrying out his threat. The suspect was subjected to police measures soon after, and federal police officers found him at the stop of the regional train in Tübingen.

The victim of the threat was a 15-year-old passenger with Polish citizenship. The suspect also allegedly attempted to spit at other passengers. The Bundes Police are now looking for other possible victims in this context and have asked the unknown passenger who was allegedly threatened with a wooden knife to contact them under the number +49711550491020.
