On August 26, 2025, a 28-year-old man, identified as a Syrian national, was arrested around 3:50 PM. The arrest took place as the individuals were leaving the area towards the cross-platform.
The arrest was initiated following the observation of two suspicious individuals near the lockers at the station. The individuals were covertly dividing bags behind an open locker door.
During the search, a plastic bag containing over 25 grams of cannabis was found in the left trouser pocket of the arrested man. This discovery led the Federal Police to suspect drug trafficking.
The 28-year-old man was stopped and asked to show the contents of his pockets by the officers. A preliminary investigation was initiated against him for illegal trafficking in cannabis and the distribution of cannabis.
The man presented a valid residence permit to the officers during the arrest. The Federal Police seized a large amount of cannabis from the arrested man.
