In a series of police measures yesterday afternoon, investigators in Neustrelitz conducted searches at five locations. The searches were carried out following an order from the public prosecutor's office, but the exact individuals questioned in connection with drug trafficking and possession have not been disclosed.

The day's events began early morning when a driver was stopped and checked by police officers in Neustrelitz. During the procedure, a significant amount of drugs in various forms was found in a bag within the car. The suspects, three German nationals aged between late 30s and mid-40s, were accused of possessing substantial quantities of cocaine, amphetamine, ecstasy, and cannabis.

After the police measures, the suspects were sent home. The bag and its contents were secured and the information was passed on to the drug squad of the state criminal police office. No further findings were made at these locations.
