The Ulm Police Headquarters has issued a warning to drivers following two incidents of excessive speeding on Ulm Street, as reported by news aktuell. According to the information provided by the Ulm Police Headquarters, two drivers were found to be significantly over the speed limit of 50 km/h.

On the night of June 30, 2022, a VW driver, aged 24, was clocked driving 58 km/h over the speed limit, facing a fine of at least 260 euros, two points in Flensburg, and a one-month driving ban. Another BMW driver, aged 22, was caught driving 54 km/h over the limit, resulting in a fine of at least 180 euros and one point.

The Ulm Police Headquarters emphasised the serious consequences that accidents involving excessive speed can have, stating that they can have long-lasting effects on both victims and perpetrators. The police also advised drivers not to overestimate their abilities and to account for others' mistakes.
