Law Enforcement in Pol-MFR seizes over 1.5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine in a successful operation

In a significant development, the Schwabach Criminal Police, in collaboration with the Nuremberg-Fürth Public Prosecutor's Office, arrested two suspected drug dealers in Schwabach on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

The arrests took place on a parking lot in Schwabach, where a larger quantity of crystal was to be handed over. The operation involved a large number of police officers, including civil deployment groups from Schwabach and Erlangen, the deployment unit from Erlangen, and the Nuremberg Criminal Police. The Special Operations Command (SEK) was also involved.

The arrested individuals are a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old. During the arrest operation, more than 1.5 kg of crystal was secured by the officers. The search of the suspects' apartments in Schwabach, which was part of further criminal police measures, yielded further evidence and a small amount of crystal from the 17-year-old.

At the request of the Nuremberg-Fürth Public Prosecutor's Office, arrest warrants were issued against the two suspects for drug trafficking in a significant amount. The competent investigating judge issued the arrest warrants. However, no further information was provided about the resolution of the case, suggesting that the investigation is likely ongoing.

The initial indications for the arrests were obtained in June 2025, suggesting a 17-year-old might be involved in drug trafficking. Intriguingly, during the search of the 17-year-old's apartment, a firearm ready for use was found.
