On August 21, a hit-and-run incident occurred in Wanne-Eickel, Germany, at the roundabout where Hammerschmidtstraße meets Wilhelmstraße. According to information transmitted by Polizei Bochum, the victim was a 10-year-old boy from Herne who was crossing the road on his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.

The boy sustained minor injuries and was treated on an outpatient basis at the hospital. The suspect, who is still at large, is described as a man aged between 30 and 50, of slim to normal build, with a dark beard and dark hair.

The suspect was driving a dark blue Audi sedan, possibly an Audi A4, with a Gelsenkirchen license plate. The police are currently searching for the driver of the blue Audi in connection with the hit-and-run incident.
