In Kornwestheim, Germany, on Bahnhofstraße, a family dispute between two young individuals, aged 16 and 18, escalated into a tense situation on April 2, 2025.

The 16-year-old family member, who was about to leave the parental home, became aggressive, provocative, and insulting during the altercation. This behaviour continued even when the police arrived on the scene.

The dispute resulted in the 16-year-old physically resisting the police, causing a minor injury to an officer. The young individual attempted to escape from the patrol car twice and was subsequently restrained with foot shackles.

During the dispute, both family members turned on their mother, who bravely intervened in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Unfortunately, her efforts were met with hostility.

The 18-year-old family member was not present when the police arrived.

The head of the Ludwigsburg Police Administration, who can provide further information about the event, is Thomas Wild as of September 1, 2025. For inquiries, you can contact the Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters at 07141 18-8777 or send an email to [email protected].

The reason for the dispute remains unknown. The Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters can be found online at http://www.polizei-bw.de/.
