Law enforcement officials apprehend suspects in Dresden.
In the early hours of this morning, a robbery was reported at Dresden's main station. The incident occurred in the dome hall of the station, where two men were found arguing loudly.
According to the Federal Police, they have initiated a criminal investigation for robbery and theft following the incident. The further investigation of the case will be conducted by the Saxon Police, as they are responsible due to their jurisdiction.
The 30-year-old perpetrator, who was identified as a Polish national, was found at the scene. Another witness reported that the suspect kicked the victim, a 39-year-old Turkish national, who was identified as the victim in the incident.
The suspect is also believed to have stolen personal items from the victim's backpack. The investigation is being conducted in relation to both the robbery and the theft of personal items.
