Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden Makes Arrests and Seizures at Dresden Central Station

In a series of controlled operations, the Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden has made several arrests and seizures at Dresden Central Station.

On July 15, 2025, at 22:34, a 37-year-old Serbian citizen was checked on an international incoming train (Prague-Dresden) by federal police officers. The individual had an arrest warrant from the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office for the commercial distribution of narcotics. A clip bag containing a crystalline substance was found on the man during the arrest. The Serbian citizen was handed over to Berlin and surrendered to the justice at the Tiergarten District Court on July 16, 2025.

The following day, on July 16, 2025, at 03:15, a 24-year-old Turkish citizen with a valid residence permit was checked at Dresden Central Station by officers. The Turkish citizen had an arrest warrant from the Chemnitz Public Prosecutor's Office for a fine of 381 euros including court costs, or alternatively, 15 days of imprisonment. The man was unable to pay the fine and was taken to the Dresden Prison on July 16, 2025.

The arrests were not limited to these two individuals. In recent days, the Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden has made several arrests, including a 38-year-old man arrested on July 15, 2025, for theft. The name of the head of the Federal Police Inspection Dresden remains undisclosed.

The controls were conducted not only at Dresden Central Station but also included an international train. The Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden can be contacted for further questions at the given phone number, email, website, and Twitter handle.

It is important to note that the fine to be paid for the theft is 1,500 euros, or alternatively, the man faces 75 days in prison. The Turkish citizen, on the other hand, will face either a 381 euro fine or 15 days of imprisonment if they are unable to pay.

These operations highlight the ongoing efforts by the Federal Police Inspectorate Dresden to maintain law and order at Dresden Central Station and in the city as a whole. The public is reminded to cooperate with law enforcement officers and to respect the law.
