Yesterday afternoon, a 28-year-old man was arrested in Marienfelde by officers from police districts 44 and 47. The man, who has not been named in the available reports, caused a disturbance around 1:45 PM on Daimlerstraße.

According to the police, the man became aggressive and resisted arrest when approached by officers. He verbally abused the officers, and in an attempt to escape, he allegedly attempted to bite and headbutt them.

During the altercation, an officer sustained an arm injury and had to leave work. The man also damaged a car's side mirror on Daimlerstraße and threw construction site signage onto the road, endangering other traffic.

Upon being taken into custody, the man was taken for further identity verification. Blood samples were drawn from him, and a breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of approximately 1.5%. He was subsequently transported to the psychiatric department of a hospital for examination by a doctor.

Investigations are ongoing for the man's resisting and assaulting law enforcement officers, endangering traffic, and property damage. The police have not released any further details about the case at this time.
