The city of Nordhorn is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader (m/f/d) for its Traffic Planning/Road Construction department. This permanent, full-time position offers an appealing work environment, competitive remuneration, and a host of benefits.

In this role, the Team Leader will lead a team of 8, overseeing various aspects of traffic planning and road construction. Responsibilities include project management, preparation of documents for municipal bodies and engineering contracts, and independent development of construction-ready designs for roads and traffic junctions.

The position also involves participation in or processing of planning approval procedures and land use planning procedures. The Team Leader will calculate costs for local contributions and account for construction measures with various funding providers, such as N-GVFG.

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential for this role, as the Team Leader will coordinate and monitor engineering firms and consult with external parties involved in measures, such as supply providers.

Profound knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards, as well as good IT skills (MS-Office, GIS) is necessary. Knowledge of the tendering program ORCA and the specialist software Vestra is desirable.
