Learn About Foster Parenting at Oct 15 Info Session
An information session about foster parenting will take place on Wednesday, October 15, from 7 to 9 pm at the VHS, LuitpoldstraΓe 2. The event, organized by the youth welfare offices of Aschaffenburg city and district, aims to recruit foster parents for children of all ages, temporarily or permanently. Female employees of the foster child service will speak and answer questions.
The session will cover various topics, including reasons why children cannot live with their parents, types of children seeking foster parents, and the tasks of the youth welfare office. Attendees will also learn about the legal background, the role of the child's family, requirements for foster parent applicants, and the application process. Support provided by the youth welfare office for foster families will also be discussed.
The event is a joint effort between the Department of Children, Youth and Family of the City of Aschaffenburg and the Department of Children, Youth and Family of the District of Aschaffenburg. Speakers will be available after the presentation to answer questions and provide further information.
The youth welfare office is actively seeking foster parents for children of all ages. The information session on October 15 offers a comprehensive overview of foster parenting, encouraging potential applicants to learn more and consider providing a caring home for a child in need.
