Limited Road Traffic on August 24, 2025 During Germany Tour

On August 24, 2025, the city of Halle (Saale) will host the "Germany Tour" cycling event at the market square. HAVAG (Hallesche Verkehrs-AG) is facilitating the arrival and departure of visitors for this exciting event.

Tram traffic will be restricted due to the event. The market square will be closed to trams from 9:00 to 15:00. Tram Lines 2, 5, 7, 1, 9, 94, 95, and 10 will be diverted during the event.

Tram Lines 3 and 8 will run from 9:00 to 13:30 via Steinweg/Neues Theater, Riebeckplatz, Am Steintor, Joliot-Curie-Platz, and from 13:30 to 15:00 via Reileck/Steinweg, Willy-Lohmann-Straße, Am Steintor, Riebeckplatz, Am Leipziger Turm, and Line 8 will run via Burg Giebichenstein/Steinweg, Triftstraße, Reileck.

Tram Line 9 runs via Saline/Am Leipziger Turm, Glauchaer Platz. Tram Line 10 is diverted via Saline/Am Steintor, Glauchaer Platz, Riebeckplatz, Magdeburger Straße. Tram Line 95 is diverted from 9:00 to 10:00 via Am Steintor/Steinweg, Riebeckplatz, Am Leipziger Turm.

The area between Burg Giebichenstein and Reileck, including Burgstraße, Mühlweg, Bernburger Straße, and Große Ulrichstraße, will not be served from 13:30 to 15:00. Additionally, Große Steinstraße will be inaccessible from 13:30 to 15:00 due to the event.

Please note that the collective connections of the trams at 09:20, 09:40, and 10:00 at the market square will not take place on this day. The official transport website currently does not provide data for that date and time regarding tram lines passing through Große Steinstraße.
