Seven Surveyors Honoured for Decades of Service in Landshut District
Seven dedicated surveyors were recently honoured for their long-standing service in the Landshut district. The ceremony took place in the large meeting room of the county administration building, with Landrat Peter Dreier and the head of the Department of Digitalization, Broadband, and Surveying, Uwe Weid, welcoming the honorees.
Among those honoured were Christian Niegel, Josef Zausinger, Quirin Zirngibl, Thomas Ippenberger, Johann Cimander, and Georg Spirkl, who were recognised for 25 years of service. Albert Frimberger was honoured for an impressive 50 years of service as a surveyor.
These surveyors are highly trusted by their fellow citizens and have an excellent knowledge of the local property and boundary conditions in their home area. They are far more than just assistants to the surveying officials, playing a crucial role in surveying plots of land, boundaries, and paths on site.
Department head Uwe Weid thanked the surveyors for their support and emphasised the indispensable nature of their knowledge for the surveying administration. Landrat Dreier echoed these sentiments, stating that surveyors are vital for the surveying work in the district.
Currently, around 250 surveyors are actively working in the Landshut district, demonstrating the commitment and dedication of these professionals to their roles. The surveyors honoured at the ceremony are a testament to the importance of their work and the impact they have had on the district over the years.
