In the vibrant literary scene of Northern Kentucky, several authors are using their experiences and talents to create works that resonate with readers. Among them are Krista Harrington, Karisa Moore, and Pam Walker.

Krista Harrington, a Cincinnati native and Hebron resident, is a local author represented by Jen Babakhan at Books & Such Literary Management. With 14 years of experience as a sports mom, she may be working on a devotional for moms in that season of life. Her writing is often inspired by her local community, including her sons, and she finds her kitchen table to be the easiest place to write. To follow her upcoming projects and book news, connect with her through her website www.kristaharrington.com.

Karisa Moore, a local author from Union, turned to writing after the death of her son by suicide in 2014. Her works, such as "Broken Butterflies: Emerging Through Grief," a poetry journal, and her latest book, "Turn the Page: Devotions to Help the Griever Hope," were born out of her own hopeful grief. She finds writing support from her editor based in Cincinnati, the Boone County Word Weavers, and the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. You may find Karisa writing, sipping on chai at Reality Tuesdays in Park Hills.

Pam Walker, an active member and President of the Boone County Word Weavers, moved to Northern Kentucky in 2004 for her position as a staff writer and national editor for Answers magazine. She has been writing most of her life and is currently working on a ministry profile article for Today's Christian Living on the Prison Fellowship ministry. Pam recently booked a one-day personal writer's retreat at Potter's Ranch.

Jennifer Jahn, a new contributor to the NKyTribune, lives in Northern Kentucky and is a member of Boone County Word Weavers. She has published several children's books and homeschools her four children.

Karisa Moore's current work-in-progress is a novel based in Bellevue, Kentucky, and her debut novel, "Fostering Love," was inspired by local foster families in Kentucky. Krista writes picture books, devotionals, and articles, and her work "Turn the Page: Devotions to Help the Griever Hope" is available through Abundance Books Publisher and Amazon.

In this community of writers, each author brings a unique voice and perspective, offering readers a diverse range of stories that reflect the heart and soul of Northern Kentucky.
