In the crisp air of autumn, as the leaves begin to change and the days grow shorter, one individual is hitting restart and turning inward to create a warm, cozy, and thoughtful wardrobe. Today, we follow Fall Caroline on her journey to assemble a capsule wardrobe that reflects her desires to feel welcoming, reflective, and appreciative.

Starting on October 1st, Fall Caroline will embark on this fashionable adventure. She has already learned from her summer wardrobe, which was put together in just six days. However, this time around, she feels a bit unsure about her style and the creation of her fall wardrobe.

To help guide her, Fall Caroline is focusing on the girl inside the clothes rather than the clothes themselves. She is considering what the girl inside the clothes will do for herself, her people, and complete strangers. This introspective approach is helping her to embrace serenity and tune out external noise.

The foundation of Fall Caroline's wardrobe will be a versatile skirt from Madewell, a pair of comfortable and stylish shoes from J.Crew, and a bag from Marc Jacobs. To add some playful patterns and warm color tones, she is considering graphic tees, comfy jeggings, and oversized knit sweaters. A bracelet and a top from Madewell, as well as a budget-friendly $9 pair of shoes, will complete her outfit.

Fall Caroline's vision for her wardrobe is one of laughter, hosting, reading, growth, dwelling in whimsy and wonder, and being in love. She wants to feel at home in her clothes, and shopping without internal direction and vision is generally a bad idea for her.

As Fall Caroline embarks on this journey, she invites us all to join her in focusing on the girl inside the clothes rather than the clothes themselves. Let us take a moment to reflect on how we want to feel and how we can use our wardrobe to express ourselves and make a positive impact on the world.
