Luxury audio enthusiasts covet Sonus Faber's premium, visually striking speakers, a treasure for a select crowd of privileged individuals.
Introducing the Sonus Faber Amati Supreme Speakers: A Symbol of Contemporary Luxury
The Italian high-end audio brand Sonus Faber has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Sonus Faber Amati Supreme speakers. Priced at £75,000 / €78,000 / $78,000 (approximately AU$155,320), these speakers are a testament to technological prowess and a symbol of contemporary luxury.
Part of the Amati line, first launched in the 1990s, the Amati Supreme speakers draw on the same technology and design as the flagship Suprema speakers. They are renowned for their ability to deliver a wide frequency range and powerful sound, with a super wide frequency response ranging from 28Hz to 40,000Hz.
While traditional in design compared to some of Sonus Faber's more eye-catching and headline-grabbing designs, the Amati Supreme speakers are still considered stunning. They come in two matte metal finishes: Sabbia Oro (dark gold) and Terra Rosso (deep red). A transparent Y-shaped window on top allows a view of the mid-high crossover section.
The Amati Supreme speakers boast a 4.5-way driver design capable of almost 600W without distortion. They feature a 20mm silk dome tweeter with dedicated waveguide, a 38mm silk dome tweeter with a dedicated waveguide, a 165m dual-drive midrange driver, and two 220mm dual drive woofers. This configuration ensures the delivery of subterranean lows and airy highs, creating an immersive experience for the listener.
Designed to blend in with decor rather than stand out, the Sonus Faber Amati Supreme speakers are an icon of contemporary luxury. They are considered high-end and are only affordable to a select few. However, compared to Sonus Faber's flagship Suprema speakers, the Amati Supreme speakers are more affordable, making them an attractive option for audiophiles seeking a premium audio experience.
The Sonus Faber Amati Supreme speakers will be available worldwide from September. For those who appreciate the finer things in life and seek a truly immersive audio experience, these speakers are not to be missed.
