In a move that has sent ripples through the world of luxury yachting, Ambassador Tilman Fertitta has put his stunning superyacht, the 'Boardwalk', up for sale. The 252-foot vessel, designed by De Voogt and delivered by Feadship, is on the market for a whopping $192 million.

The 'Boardwalk' yacht, a testament to Fertitta's penchant for grandeur, boasts an impressive layout that includes a spacious forward tender garage on the main deck, capable of housing two luxurious tenders. It can accommodate 14 guests and 22 crew members, providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment.

Fertitta, who is worth an estimated $10.5 billion, has been a prominent figure in the entertainment and gaming industry. His extensive portfolio includes Fertitta Entertainment, Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN), and DraftKings (NASDAQ: DKNG). The 'Boardwalk' yacht, however, is not related to the Atlantic City Boardwalk but takes its name from the Kemah Boardwalk, a tourist attraction in Texas that Fertitta owns.

The 'Boardwalk' yacht is said to be in immaculate condition, featuring seven cabins, a helipad, pool, spa, and more. Fertitta has been living on the yacht for months prior to moving into Villa Taverna, his Italian residence.

It is not yet confirmed who will be the new owner of the 'Boardwalk' yacht, or if Tilman Fertitta has already acquired a replacement. As of December 2023, there are no public, reliable sources confirming that Todd Shriber, a well-known Texas-based entrepreneur and yacht owner, has indeed purchased a 384-foot yacht as a replacement for the 'Boardwalk'. The market for Mega-Yachts is extremely private, with ownership changes and sales often only becoming public knowledge years later, or not at all.

Fertitta's nephew, Frank Fertitta III, has already moved on from the 'Boardwalk' yacht. He now owns another version of the Viva yacht, a 308-foot vessel that cost $250 million. Frank Fertitta III previously owned the $175 million Viva yacht, which was also a part of the Fertitta family's impressive yacht collection.

During his tenure as the US ambassador to Italy and San Marino, Fertitta has not been involved in the day-to-day operations of his namesake entertainment conglomerate. His absence from the 'Boardwalk' yacht suggests that he is fully committed to his diplomatic duties.

As the sale of the 'Boardwalk' yacht progresses, the world waits with bated breath to see who will become its new owner and where its next adventures will take it.
