Real Madrid Secures Third LaLiga Win of the Season, Extending Unbeaten Run Against Mallorca

Real Madrid continued their impressive form in the 2025-26 LaLiga season, securing a 2-1 victory over Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu. This win marked their third league triumph of the campaign, extending their unbeaten run against Mallorca to ten straight home games.

The match began with a close encounter, with Aurelien Tchouameni having an early shot for Real Madrid that narrowly missed the target. However, it was Mallorca who took the lead through Vedat Muriqi, assisted by Pablo Torre.

Real Madrid responded resiliently, with Franco Mastantuono, at 18 years and 16 days old, becoming the youngest player to start a league match for the club at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 21st century. His youthful energy seemed to ignite the team, as they fought back to level the scores.

The equalizer came courtesy of Arda Guler, who scored a vital goal to keep Real Madrid's hopes alive. The momentum shifted in their favour, and the decisive goal was scored by Vinicius Junior, who completed the comeback and added to his tally against Mallorca.

Vinicius has been a thorn in Mallorca's side in recent years, with the Brazilian forward involved in six goals in 10 LaLiga matches against them (four goals, two assists). In his four home appearances against Mallorca in the top-flight, Vinicius has scored three goals and provided one assist.

This win extends Real Madrid's current winning streak in LaLiga to six matches, a feat they last achieved in the 2020-21 season. With Vinicius continuing to shine against Mallorca, the future looks bright for Zinedine Zidane's side as they look to challenge for the LaLiga title.
