Mahindra's electric vehicles XEV 9e and BE 6 have achieved the significant sales figure of 20,000 units within a timeframe of five months.

Mahindra, a leading automobile manufacturer in India, has entered the mid-to-premium electric vehicle (EV) segment with its latest offerings, the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e. These SUVs are creating a stir in the market with their impressive performance, competitive pricing, and eco-conscious appeal.

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e come equipped with multiple driving modes - Range, Everyday, and Race. These modes cater to various driving conditions, offering flexibility and convenience to the drivers.

In terms of power, the SUVs deliver torque rated at 380 Nm across both variants. The 79 kWh version of the Mahindra BE 6 delivers 285 bhp, while its counterpart, the Mahindra XEV 9e, offers 230 bhp with the same battery pack.

Both models support DC fast charging up to 175 kW, making long journeys less anxiety-inducing. Charging the battery from 20% to 80% takes approximately 20 minutes, ensuring swift refuelling.

The charging process also contributes to easier city commuting, as both SUVs feature One-Pedal Drive. This system allows the vehicle to slow down significantly when the accelerator is lifted, reducing the need for constant braking.

Both the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e are offered with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The 79 kWh version of the BE 6 extends its range to 682 km, while the XEV 9e offers a range of 656 km with the same battery pack.

The pricing for the Mahindra BE 6 ranges between ₹18.90 lakh and ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an affordable option in the mid-to-premium EV segment. The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced slightly higher, with a range of ₹21.90 lakh to ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra achieved a significant milestone by delivering 10,000 vehicles within the first 70 days after the market launch. However, the person who supported the vehicle manufacturer in this feat remains unnamed in the available search results.

In conclusion, the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e are set to redefine the electric vehicle landscape in India with their powerful performance, extended range, quick charging capabilities, and competitive pricing. These offerings are a testament to Mahindra's commitment to sustainable mobility and its position as a key player in the Indian automotive industry.
