Man from Delhi apprehended for murdering wife and mother-in-law; authorities discover scissors and blood-stained clothing

In a shocking turn of events, the bodies of Kusum Sinha (63) and Priya Sehgal (34) were discovered inside a flat on the third floor in Rohini Sector 17, Delhi, on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports by ANI (Press Trust of India), the alleged time of the incident was between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. Himalaya, one of Priya's brothers, found his mother and sister dead at Priya's house.

The police have identified the accused in the case as Yogesh Sehgal, who was arrested following the murder. A PCR call was received at the KNK Marg police station regarding the gruesome discovery.

The murder is suspected to be a result of a domestic dispute. Himalaya claimed that Priya had been facing harassment for years. He also stated that Kusum had informed him about a quarrel regarding the expenses of Priya's birthday party, which Kusum was supposed to attend but couldn't due to the disagreement.

The police found the blood-soaked bodies of the two women inside a room on the third floor. They have recovered blood-stained clothes and a pair of scissors from the crime scene.

Priya's brother, Megh Sinha, accused Yogesh Sehgal of the murders. Several complaints were filed with the police regarding Priya's harassment.

The double murder has left Priya's two children traumatized, as stated by the police. However, they are safe and being provided with necessary care and support.
