Man of 49 years old, under harassment, resists arrest, found intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 1.7 promille and carrying ampoules and a packet of tablets

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, an unusual incident unfolded at Halle (Saale) Central Station. A traveler approached a patrol of the Federal Police at 15:43 seeking assistance, as they were being harassed by a 49-year-old man.

The Federal Police officers approached the 49-year-old man, who became aggressive and provocative towards them. A breath alcohol test revealed a reading of 1.7 per mille for the man. Despite being handcuffed and resisting the police measure, he attempted to disrupt the search process at the nearby Federal Police Station.

Eight ampoules and a blister pack of tablets, subject to anti-doping laws, were seized from the 49-year-old man. He was reported for violations of anti-doping laws and for resisting enforcement officers.
