Museum of Miniature Russia Unveils Largest Miniature Model of Nizhny Novgorod

The Museum of Miniature Russia in Moscow has unveiled a new addition to its collection, a miniature model of the historical city of Nizhny Novgorod. Known as the "Tsar-Maket", this impressive model is designed to offer visitors an immersive and interactive experience, setting it apart from the previous model.

The "Tsar-Maket" is the largest miniature model of a Russian city ever created, meticulously crafted in a 1:350 scale. It features iconic landmarks such as the Kremlin, Nizhny Novgorod Fair, Palace of Labor, cable car, "Gorkovchane - Front" memorial, and Moscow Station. The structures are made from plastic, but at a larger scale compared to the previous model.

Trucks, buses, and cars travel along the roads in the model, adding to the realistic ambiance. However, these moving vehicles are not yet operational. The landmarks in the model are illuminated, adding to its charm and authenticity.

The "Tsar-Maket" is expected to open for public viewing in the near future. It is installed at the Museum of Miniature Russia, where a miniature model of Nizhny Novgorod has already been on display.

The previous model, while impressive, was crafted in a 1:87 scale and lacked the interactivity of the "Tsar-Maket". The new model aims to provide a more immersive experience, allowing visitors to walk around and explore the miniature city at their leisure.

It is not yet known who created the miniature version of Nizhny Novgorod at the Museum of Miniature Russia. The "Tsar-Maket", with its larger scale and added features, is a testament to the skill and dedication of the unnamed craftsman.

Visitors to the Museum of Miniature Russia can look forward to exploring the "Tsar-Maket" and experiencing the charm of Nizhny Novgorod in miniature form. The illuminated landmarks, moving vehicles, and detailed structures promise an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
