MGM Introduces Canine Accompaniment Service
**MGM Resorts Introduces Pet-Friendly Accommodations Across Multiple Properties**
In a move to cater to pet owners, MGM Resorts has launched a Pet Stay Program, extending its hospitality to dogs across its hotels in Las Vegas, select properties in Massachusetts, Mississippi, and Michigan, and iconic venues like the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The program offers a range of services to ensure pets enjoy a comfortable and pampered stay. This includes wellness programs, grooming services, and veterinary care. For an additional charge, pet-friendly rooms and suites are available, with prices varying by property. At MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, for instance, the pet fee is $150 per pet, per night, while a refundable deposit of $100 per accommodation, per day, is required.
The program provides pets with high-quality service, offering free treats, water bowls, and dog beds upon arrival. Guests can also take advantage of maps of walking routes within the resorts for walking their dogs. A dedicated "Doggie Concierge" is available to care for pets when guests are away, sending regular SMS updates with photos.
For those who wish to gamble or attend a show without their pets, a kennel can be arranged. The management at Park MGM prioritises the comfort of pets, offering pet-friendly rooms and a special menu for dogs.
MGM Resorts has also announced a partnership with internet giant Yahoo! to drive its sports betting business on the newly legalized US sports betting market. Although bets will not be placed directly via the Yahoo! platform, links to BetMGM will allow access to sports betting areas with fewer clicks.
This move comes as analysts predict that MGM's food and beverage revenues could exceed casino revenues for the first time this year. With seven out of ten households in the United States owning a dog, making pet ownership statistically more common than child ownership, the demand for pet-friendly services in the hospitality industry is on the rise.
Similar pet-friendly service offerings are already being marketed by numerous gaming companies in Las Vegas, indicating a growing trend in the industry. MGM Resorts has established a similar program at the legendary Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, Harrah's Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Bally's Las Vegas, The LINQ, and the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, as well as the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, it is recommended to check directly with the specific MGM property you plan to visit.
What about the lifestyle of pet owners visiting Las Vegas? MGM Resorts' pet-friendly accommodations now extend to their casino-and-gambling properties in Las Vegas, ensuring that both pets and their owners can enjoy the vibrant city.
