Middle East's Initial Conference in Urology and Continence Care to Revolutionize Medical Practices in GCC Region

The first-ever Middle East urological conference, ICS-EUS 2025, is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from 17-20 September 2025. This groundbreaking event, a collaboration between the International Continence Society (ICS) and the Emirates Urological Society (EUS), promises to be a must-attend for anyone committed to advancing continence care in the GCC region.

The conference aims to address the growing health concern of urinary and fecal incontinence in the GCC region, a problem that has risen in tandem with the increasing rates of diabetes, obesity, prostate issues, and neurological disorders in the region. Research indicates that overweight women face a 35% higher risk of urinary incontinence, and obesity nearly doubles the likelihood. In the UAE, nearly 30% of adults are obese and over 17% live with diabetes, further aggravating the incontinence burden.

ICS-EUS 2025 will bring together global and regional experts in the field of urology, gynecology, geriatrics, physiotherapy, nursing, and allied health professionals. Dr. Yasser Saeedi, President of EUS, mentioned that the conference offers a unique opportunity for clinicians to gain insights, exchange best practices, and connect with both regional and international peers. Dr. John Heesakkers, General Secretary of ICS, stated that ICS-EUS is more than a scientific meeting; it's a chance to break the silence around incontinence, reduce stigma, and bring practical solutions to patients' lives.

The conference will focus on showcasing the latest innovations in continence care, championing patient-first approaches, and promoting prevention, holistic wellbeing, and culturally sensitive treatment. Delegates will explore the digital revolution in continence care, including AI-driven diagnostics, mobile monitoring, and personalized treatment plans.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend interactive workshops, expert-led roundtables, and cutting-edge lectures during the conference. EUS will host four hands-on workshops and four expert-led roundtables, covering key urology sub-specialties such as Andrology, Urolithiasis, Uro-Oncology, and Urotechnology. These sessions offer practical mentorship alongside scientific learning to participants.

The event is accredited with 28.5 European CME credits and 23.5 CPD hours. GCC attendees are eligible for a 25% registration discount and a Buy One Get One Free offer on EUS workshops until 7th September 2025.

ICS-EUS 2025 is not just a conference; it's a platform for change. It's a chance to learn, share, and grow in the field of continence care. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be a part of the future of continence care in the GCC.
