Mikkelsen expresses concerns about negative impact on his intimate relationships
Mads Mikkelsen, the acclaimed Danish actor known for his captivating performances, recently made an appearance in Venice to present his new film, "The Last Viking." The black comedy, directed by fellow Dane Anders Thomas Jensen, is set to hit German cinemas later this year, although the exact release date remains undisclosed.
Mikkelsen plays an adult man with the emotional maturity of a small child in "The Last Viking." In preparation for the role, the 59-year-old actor underwent a significant transformation, parting ways with a perm hairstyle he had for two months. However, Mikkelsen admitted that he was not a fan of his new look, comparing it unfavourably to the smell of a sewer.
The perm had another downside for Mikkelsen, as he stated it negatively affected his love life. After wrapping up the shoot, Mikkelsen had the perm removed. Currently, Mikkelsen sports a classic haircut with a gray fringe, a style that seems to suit him better.
Despite the challenges of the perm, Mikkelsen remains a popular figure. He is often listed among Europe's most sexually appealing actors, a testament to his enduring appeal. The anticipation for "The Last Viking" is high, with audiences eager to see Mikkelsen's latest performance on the big screen.
Stay tuned for more updates on the release date of "The Last Viking" in German cinemas.
