Military service obligation persists under the contract

The press service of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) have announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense is currently accepting applications for military service by contract in the cities of Yakutsk, Mirny, and Neryungri.

Individuals interested in serving are required to bring their passport, SINILS, INN, education document, military ID, marriage and birth certificates of children (if any), to the designated selection centers. The addresses for these centers are as follows:

  • In Yakutsk, the selection center is located at ul. Chepaloova, 23, and 11 km of the Sergeleyakhshosse, 1.
  • In Mirny, the selection center is situated at ul. 40 let Oktyabrya, 26.
  • In Neryungri, the selection center can be found at ul. Chuрапchinская, 33, building 3.

The selection centers operate from 09:00 to 18:00, without days off. Additional information can be obtained from the selection centers, military commissariats, or the website: yakontrakt14.rf.

The one-time payment for those entering military service ranges from 2.6 million rubles, with 1.8 million rubles coming from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and 400,000 rubles contributed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Residents of Yakutia are actively signing contracts for military service in the zone of the special operation. Those entering military service under contract receive this one-time payment.
