This led to a heated argument, during which the woman confronted her partner and slapped his relative. The man's relative tried to intervene, which led to the woman slapping him.
The Peelamedu police have started investigating the woman's claims and her relationship with the man. News reports have confirmed that the viral video shows a personal dispute, not cab drivers harassing travellers.
