Truck Theater Tour Brings Witty Entertainment to Austria this Summer

The Truck Theater is set to embark on a tour through Austria this spring and summer, promising a lively atmosphere and entertaining performances. The tour, which kicks off on April 30 in Ybbs an der Donau, will visit over 30 locations, including Vienna, St. Pölten, and Frankenfels.

The truck used by the Truck Theater belongs to St. Pölten transport entrepreneur Karl Gruber. Since 2013, the Truck Theater has been entertaining more than 45,000 visitors with witty entertainment, and this year's tour is no exception.

The performances, which last for 80 minutes, will take place at various open-air locations, such as markets and meadows. The show is directed by Nicole Fendesack and features a talented cast, including Max Mayerhofer and David Czifer.

The Truck Theater will perform "Pension Schöller" by Wilhelm Jacoby and Carl Laufs. The tour will begin in Eastern Austria from late April, with the first stop in Sitzenberg-Reidling on May 3, 2025. The performances will then move to Vienna Liesing on May 6, 2025, and Vienna Hietzing on June 3, 2025.

Other stops on the tour include Vienna Floridsdorf on May 28, 2025, Vienna Meidling on May 19, 2025, Vienna Brigittenau on June 17, 2025, and Vienna Josefstadt on June 11, 2025. The tour will also visit locations outside of Vienna, such as Rohrendorf bei Krems on May 9, 2025, Wöllersdorf-Steinabrückl on June 18, 2025, and Schloss Artstetten on May 26, 2025.

The tour will continue through June, with stops in Enzersfeld on June 13, 2025, Kottingbrunn on June 5, 2025, Kaltenleutgeben on June 11, 2025, Gmünd on June 2, 2025, Gerersdorf on May 20, 2025, and Sooß on May 29, 2025. The tour will conclude in July with performances at Fels am Wagram on July 2, 2025, and Wiener Neustadt on July 1, 2025.

The performances are free for the audience and are suitable for warm summer evenings. The Truck Theater's tour is made possible by a strong alliance between the province of Lower Austria, AK Lower Austria, the chamber of commerce, and many sponsors.
