Money Confiscated by Burglars during Heist
In the early hours of Friday, 1st August, a robbery occurred at a tobacco company in Hürth. According to the Police Rhein-Erft Circle, transmitted via news aktuell, the victim of the robbery was a 58-year-old employee who was refilling a cigarette machine on Gennerstraße near Karthaüsergasse around 4:30 am.
The police are looking for two unknown individuals who are approximately 180 cm tall and athletic. One suspect was in the victim's van during the robbery, while the other is described as wearing a black hoodie and the other a blue top with a cap.
Both suspects demanded cash from the victim and fled the scene, heading towards Luxemburger Straße. The police initiated a search immediately after the robbery and secured traces at the crime scene, drawing up a criminal complaint.
