A tragic incident occurred over the weekend, claiming the life of a 52-year-old German police officer from Ludwigsburg district, Baden-Württemberg. The accident took place in Elmen, Tyrol, Austria, during a motorcycle trip.

According to reports, the officer was traveling with six colleagues, including a 46-year-old colleague who was also involved in the accident. The 52-year-old officer lost control in a left curve and collided head-on with an oncoming car.

The 46-year-old colleague had to brake sharply and fell off his motorcycle. He was taken to the hospital with broken ribs. Unfortunately, the 52-year-old officer was trapped under the car and was fatally injured in the accident.

Tobias Kutter, the deputy head of the public relations department, confirmed this. The Stuttgart police also confirmed that the outing was approved by the company.
