Motorcyclist Dies in Recklinghausen Traffic Accident

A tragic incident occurred in Recklinghausen on Thursday evening, as a motorcyclist from Dorsten lost his life in a traffic accident on Schermbecker Straße.

According to the Police Directorate Recklinghausen, the accident took place around 21:00. Both vehicles involved in the accident, a motorcycle and a small truck, were secured by the police. Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident, and immediate CPR was performed by emergency services.

Initial reports suggest that the truck driver, also from Dorsten, attempted to turn left onto the Bruchweg, causing the accident. Both vehicles caught fire immediately after the impact. First aid was administered by bystanders before the arrival of the emergency services.
