Motorcycle Rider Sustains Critical Injuries in Collision Near Zarpen
On the afternoon of August 27, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on county road 111, between Zarpen and Dahmsdorf/Badendorf, in the Stormarn district.
According to the available public police reports, a 78-year-old woman from the Stormarn district was driving a Skoda on the same route. The woman allegedly deviated to the left and collided with an oncoming Harley Davidson motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist involved in the accident was a 58-year-old man from the Nordwestmecklenburg district. He was riding a Harley Davidson at the time of the collision. The man was seriously injured in the accident and was immediately attended to by the rescue forces, who transported him to the hospital.
Fortunately, the driver of the Skoda was uninjured in the accident.
The accident occurred around 14:15, and the location of the incident was between Zarpen and Dahmsdorf/Badendorf on county road 111/Zarpen.
