Motorcyclist gravely hurt in collision with stationary vehicles on highway

A traffic accident involving a motorcyclist from Mücke occurred on Saturday afternoon at around 5:00 PM on state road 3073 towards Ober-Seibertenrod, as reported by the Police Headquarters East Hesse (PHK Peppler).

According to the authorities, the motorcyclist was attempting to overtake three vehicles when a collision occurred at the Ulrichstein exit. The accident was recorded by the Lauterbach police station.

The tractor driver at the front of the vehicles turned left into "Am Born" street, causing the collision. As a result, the motorcyclist collided with the turning tractor and fell, sustaining severe injuries.

The responsible authority for the investigation of the traffic accident is the local police department or traffic investigation unit of the Hessen Police.

The incident has caused an estimated property damage of around 6,000 euros. A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the scene and transported the severely injured motorcyclist to the University Hospital in Marburg for treatment.
