Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd., one of Vietnam's leading husbandry and animal feed firms, has once again made headlines for its commitment to social responsibility and community development. The company was recently named among the 'Best Companies to Work for in Asia' at the 2025 HR Asia Awards, highlighting its dedication to employee engagement and comprehensive talent development.

Beyond its internal initiatives, Japfa Vietnam has been actively supporting disadvantaged communities. In a notable move, the company donated 8,000 chickens to farmers in the southern province of Dong Nai. This initiative, funded through a website campaign marking the company's 29th anniversary, also received contributions from employees and local business partners.

The company's social responsibility efforts extend to education as well. In September 2021, Japfa launched the 'Japfa for Education' project in nine northern provinces, which has since expanded to support more disadvantaged students. The project, which awards scholarships and study gifts to students with outstanding academic results, has provided over 500 scholarships to date.

Japfa Vietnam's commitment to building a sustainable ecosystem is evident in its operations. Guided by a strong commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, Japfa prioritises the use of refined raw materials, operates safe and bio-secure farming systems, leverages advanced technology, and optimises resources.

The company's dedication to its employees and the community is also reflected in the Japfa Grow initiative. Launched in June, this initiative awarded 130 scholarships with cash and gifts to children of employees facing hardship. The Japfa Grow initiative offers practical encouragement while strengthening the bond between the company and employees' families in nurturing the next generation.

In addition to these initiatives, Japfa Vietnam has been running corporate social responsibility programs for children for many years, focusing on nutrition, physical health, and improved learning conditions. For instance, the Japfa Foundation established in the Tuyen Quang province in 2021, has been instrumental in providing learning equipment and nutritional food to thousands of students across the country.

Clemens Tan, general director of Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd., reaffirmed the company's commitment to enhancing the customer experience at the National Customer Conference held on February 13 and 17 in Dalat and Ninh Binh province. Japfa Vietnam's commitment to building a sustainable ecosystem where all stakeholders can grow together, share, and spread humanistic values to the community, is evident in all its initiatives.

In a heartwarming gesture, Nguyen Ngoc Sang, a director of Sang Nhung Cooperative and an Japfa animal feed distributor, offered additional scholarships worth VND20 million ($800) to students in the area during a visit to Quyet Thang Primary School, Dong Tho commune, Tuyen Quang province. Japfa Vietnam also donated 10,000 litres of disinfectant to Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Departments, households, and industrial farmers in early November.

Since its establishment in Vietnam in 1996, Japfa has grown into one of the country's leading husbandry and animal feed firms, operating eight modern feed mills and collaborating with over 1,400 farms nationwide. Japfa Vietnam's continued growth and success are a testament to its commitment to responsible business practices, community development, and employee welfare.
