In the upcoming week, several district councils in Wiesbaden, the State Capital, will hold their meetings to discuss a range of topics affecting the city's various districts. Here's a summary of the topics to be discussed at each meeting.

The Westend/Bleichstraße District Council will gather on Wednesday, 3 September, at 7:30 PM, in the Event Hall on the upper floor of the Georg-Buch-Haus, Wellritzstraße 38. The agenda includes discussions on increasing traffic safety on Seerobenstraße through a new allocation of traffic space, making the Bismarckring stop on Bleichstraße more user-friendly, and reviewing the preliminary report and treasurer's draft for the 2026 budget. Additionally, fraction proposals address the reclassification of the lowest part of Bülowstraße with naming and the implementation of one-way traffic on Scharnhorststraße.

Meanwhile, the Kloppenheim District Council will convene on Wednesday, 3 September, at 7 PM, at the Restaurant Poseidon, Oberstraße 8. Topics for discussion include the urban development expert report for the land use plan 2040 and the preliminary report and treasurer's draft for the 2026 budget. Fraction proposals address the traffic situation at Oberstraße/Stiegelstraße/Hockenberger Straße and the provision of waste bins at benches, dog waste bags along the road, and in agricultural areas.

The Erbenheim District Council will meet on Tuesday, 2 September, at 7 PM, in the Small Hall on the ground floor of the Bürgerhaus Erbenheim, Am Bürgerhaus 3. Topics on the agenda include the renaturation of the Waeschbach, the urban development expert report for the land use plan 2040, the 2026 budget, and fraction proposals regarding pedestrian crossings at Egerstraße and Berliner Straße.

The Auringen District Council will assemble on Wednesday, 3 September, at 7 PM, at the Ortsverwaltung Auringen, Kirchenhügel 3. Topics for discussion include an expert report on urban development for the land use plan 2040, the preliminary report and treasurer's draft for the 2026 budget, and the expansion of WLAN infrastructure in public spaces in Auringen.

The Nordenstadt District Council will gather on Wednesday, 3 September, at 7 PM, in the Community Hall of the Gemeindezentrum Nordenstadt, Hessenring 46. Topics to be addressed include the user-friendly expansion of the Wallauer Weg stop into town, the new construction of the Taunus Hall/Gemeindezentrum, fraction proposals regarding changes to flight routes at Frankfurt Airport, fiber optic for all Nordenstadt households, the capacity of the primary school and after-school care, and the budget for 2026.

Lastly, the Mitte District Council will convene on Thursday, 4 September, at 6 PM, in Room 22 of the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6. The agenda includes discussions on project #gießbaden - the experience report from the Parks Department, the preliminary report and treasurer's draft for the 2026 budget, and fraction proposals addressing immediate measures against speeders, memorial plaques in front of the Oranienschule, a pedestrian crossing in Matthias-Claudius-Straße over Moritz- and Oranienstraße, perspectives for the Palasthotel, and a cadastre for open spaces.
